How to pronounce the names of the characters in this book.
Several names within this series are not typical (depending on where you are from!) and have unique spellings and pronunciations. Below, you will find a list of these, along with the correct way to pronounce them. This is not the complete character list, but the more challenging ones. With each novel in the series, new names will be added to this list (several in book two already are very different!)
Raeanna (RAY-Ann-ah) Drakken (DRAYK-Kin in Scandinavia, this name is usually spelled with one K, but I don’t do the typical, and since the Drakken men are twice as nice and full of spice, I added another K! LOL. Alcayah (al-SAY-ah) Ankah Delecroix (ON-Kah Della-qwah) Kari (Car-ee) Liam Takahoshi (LEE-am Ta-ka-ho-shee) Cadhla ( Ky-lah) Aynia (AIN-yah) Kai ( Like saying the word “eye” with a K in front of it!)
