Meet Alcayah Kristensen
Meet Alcayah. She is one of Raeanna’s family members (I’m not going to give away which one! It’s more fun to be surprised). She’s mysterious and tends towards introversion (for an excellent reason!) when, in reality, she is quite the extrovert! She’s a passionate woman devoted to her family and her man.
Let’s take a peek at her chart…
Several things pop out to me immediately in Alcayah’s chart. First, her moon conjuncts the ASC at 11 degrees! She’s an Aquarius, and 11 degrees is an Aquarius degree! These are in LIBRA! Your ASC determines your looks. Venus rules Libra so that Alcayah will come off to the world as a beautiful woman with a feminine voice, and men naturally find her attractive. She will give the appearance of being “delicate,” but make no mistake! SHE IS NOT. This one is a powerful and fiery woman who doesn’t put up with a lot of crap (as we see in the first chapters of the book). She is protective and loyal to those she loves.
We also see that Saturn is also conjunct with the ASC. While Alcayah will initially appear to be a delicate, beautiful woman, she is also viewed (especially by Raeanna) as reserved and even austere. Rae states that “she comes off more like a nun than that of a witch.” This is true, but again…there is a reason for this! Her Saturn placement reveals that she has big karma for being who she is! (boy, does she ever!) and that life, to her, will usually seem like an uphill climb! But what doesn’t kill Alcayah only makes her stronger!
I must also mention that the moon conjunct the ASC can make her extraordinarily perceptive and psychic. She can also be quite emotional and empathetic. With her Saturn conjunct Neptune, we will see her dreams come true but then be dashed to the rocks (TRUE). Life can be a serious bitch sometimes for people with this placement, but when this energy is realized and worked with, life can be wonderful. Alcayah is mysterious and very high priestess-like.
Let’s look at Alcayah’s dominant planets, elements and modalities-
Alcayah’s dominant planet is Saturn! Which also happens to be the ruler of Aquarius! (Uranus is the co-ruler) Saturn is our Karma, deepest fears, and what we can become the master of once we overcome our fears! As we can see, it opposes her Jupiter (her man!) in Aries (this is him!) So, there will be delays and blockages within her relationship! She must maintain a positive attitude, never give up hope here (which she doesn’t!), and maintain her trust and faith. Her second most aspected is the Moon (intuition, feelings, desires), which also opposes her Jupiter. Then we have Uranus in 3rd, the other ruler of Aquarius! This is conjunct with her MC. Alcayah has a lot of angular placements, which are extremely powerful! But that’s to be expected, considering who she is and who her child is!
Her most dominant sign aspected is, of course, Libra, followed by Aquarius, then Capricorn!
Her most dominant element is air, and she is very dominant in cardinal energy! She likes to get stuff done and doesn’t sit around on her butt! She is very active and adventurous! You will see that she passed this trait on to her child as you read!
Let’s finish this by talking about her Sun and the 5th house! This is Leo’s house, and the sun is very happy here! 5th house Sun people can be charismatic and creative and have a flair for the arts! (As you read, you will undoubtedly see that this comes through!) This placement also indicates she is very optimistic, and her enthusiasm and positivity of this fire sign placement (Leo’s house) makes her attractive to others and can even be a sign of good fortune. Most people with the Sun in the fifth house are popular or famous as children and adults.
In the house of Leo, drama is inevitable. This means her relationships are not without any storm and can run hot and cold (YEP)
The fifth house is also the house of children. This placement suggests that she is good with kids and is a great mom. This is due to her playful nature. A Sun in the fifth house loves fun, and they will never be that boring adult who forgets to laugh and enjoy the magic of being alive. She can be childlike; thus, children feel this in her presence. In Hunting the Empress, we see where her childlike nature and playfulness are stifled, but then when they are switched on! It’s undeniable! LOL
So there you have it. I adore Alcayah. She is strong and a fighter! She doesn’t give up and maintains her faith, especially in those she loves. ❤️
