Raeann’s Playlist

This playlist contains a long list of songs collected over the five years of writing books one and two of my Sovereign of the Stars book series. Most of the songs were channeled, or specific lyrics would pop into my head as I was writing and would, in turn, “fuel” a particular scene.

I imagined this was the playlist Rae and Ankah were listening to on their road trip up north. All songs would have sentimental value to them or remind them of specific moments in their lives growing up together, hence the various decades of music represented. We all have those “special songs” that take us back in time or remind us of the special people and places in our lives, and I wouldn’t be surprised if several of the songs in Raeanna’s playlist even have meaning for you! Have a listen for yourself to find out!

Enjoy!

How to pronounce the names of the characters in this book.

Several names within this series are not typical (depending on where you are from!) and have unique spellings and pronunciations. Below, you will find a list of these, along with the correct way to pronounce them. This is not the complete character list, but the more challenging ones. With each novel in the series, new names will be added to this list (several in book two already are very different!)

Raeanna (RAY-Ann-ah)
Drakken (DRAYK-Kin in Scandinavia, this name is usually spelled with one K, but I don’t do the typical, and since the Drakken men are twice as nice and full of spice, I added another K! LOL.
Alcayah (al-SAY-ah)
Ankah Delecroix   (ON-Kah  Della-qwah)
Kari (Car-ee)
Liam Takahoshi  (LEE-am Ta-ka-ho-shee)
Cadhla ( Ky-lah)
